KAS Information
1. Maintains peak engine performance
Keeps the majority of the dust and debris out of the air intake
2. Preserves fuel consumption
By keeping contaminants out of the air filter, less energy is wasted
3. Extends filter life
Longer times between cleaning or changing the air filters
4. Reduces Turbo wear

How the KAS works
1. Air flow through the KAS stationary vanes causes the air and the rotor to spin
2. This forces the heavier particles in the air outward, ejecting contaminants through the side ports
3. Clean air is funneled down to /out of the assembly also driving the rotor speed The Pre Cleaner is positioned on the engine air intake pipe of the equipment. Air is drawn in through the bottom and goes past a series of stationary vanes creating the air to rotate in the housing. The airflow is dependent on the engine displacement, operating speed, and any scavenger ports. This airflow spins the rotor and rotor paddles. The contaminated air is ejected out the 8 side ports and the remaining clean air is sent down to the engine filters.

KAS Advantage
1. 3 times more rotor blades to maximize rejection of contaminants
2. 8 high output debris ports
3. 25% less air restriction
4. 20% greater separation efficiency

The KAS is an updated pre-cleaner design, increasing the rejection of contaminates with less air restriction than older and competitive models.
